The Security Manager administers and leads an operational risk-based security/aviation and regulatory program with responsibility for the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive security strategies aimed at protecting the company's employees, assets, and brand. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust leadership skills and extensive experience in security management.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the management and administration of all security-related functions in the assigned region. The Security Manager will develop and implement security programs across all locations in the assigned region to safeguard customer cargo and company assets from theft or fraud. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with management representatives to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all employees. Essential FunctionsBachelor's degree/equivalent.
Minimum ExperienceKnowledge and experience in criminal law pertaining to cargo theft and fraud on a local, state and federal level within all jurisdictions where FedEx conducts business. Experience in courtroom testimony pertaining to rules of evidence and criminal law. Proven ability to direct investigations while abiding by the Constitution of the United States. Ability to conduct covert surveillance undetected. Strong knowledge of Security technologies and case management. Solid leadership, problem solving, organizational and decision making skills. Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to follow instructions and complete required training. Ability to work independently and as a team member

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
